Camera Scan (AI Vision)

Point your camera at any plant — a houseplant, tree, flower, shrub, or wild plant. AI analyzes the leaves, flowers, bark, and growth pattern to identify the species.

Text Search

Type a plant name (like "snake plant" or "monstera") or describe what you see ("tall plant with purple flowers and fuzzy leaves"). PlantOrNOT uses AI to identify it and provide detailed information.

Deep ID (AI Search)

Deep ID uses AI-powered web search to compile a comprehensive plant profile:

• Confirms the identification with scientific name and family
• Checks toxicity databases (ASPCA, poison control) for pet and human safety
• Provides detailed care instructions (light, water, soil, temperature)
• Lists common problems, pests, and diseases
• Warns about dangerous look-alikes
• Shares fun facts and interesting uses

Your Privacy

PlantOrNOT uses a Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) architecture. Your photos are sent directly from your browser to Groq AI using your personal API key. There is no PlantOrNOT server — just static code on Cloudflare's CDN.
